As we spin around from chaos to chaos, there is a need for the connection with the other. Somebody to talk to or somebody to listen.

In this episode, a quick look at resources that you can use when you need to reach out.

If you need support contact the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 1-800-273-8255, the Trevor Project at 1-866-488-7386 or text “START” to 741-741.

Resources Mentioned:

The Today show post about burnout or depression and how can you tell the difference?

ADAA.or has for March 2019 the theme of Social Anxiety. I'm linking to a Twitter chat that happened in 2018. There may be an answer to a question you have about the condition.

NAMI HelpLine has a FAQ page about the service.

Warmlines.org has a listing of local and regional phone support lines. Some of them only operate a few hours of the day. Many of the warmlines can only assist people in their geographical area.

7 Cups FAQ page on the service and how it works.

SuperBetter App - in the podcast,  I mentioned that it is in the Apple App Store but it is in Google Play as well. You can also play on the website.
